G Herbo has been suspended for 12 months for misdemeanor charges against his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Fletcher, TMZ reports said.
The Fulton County Solicitor’s Office says Herbo entered the petition on Monday. With 12 months of probation, the rapper is required to attend a 24-week family violence intervention program and complete 150 hours of community service. His lawyer, Tanya Miller, told TMZ: “he’s eager [to] put this incident behind him and to move on with his life and his work—both in the studio and in the community.”
“It’s Herbert’s sincere wish to maintain harmony in the future while fulfilling his responsibilities to the family and to all who depend on him,” Miller said.
Last April, Herbo was arrested in Atlanta on charges of assaulting Fletcher during an argument. Fletcher claims Herbo grabbed her hair and scratched her arm. This caused him to face up to a year in prison. After the incident, Herbo told social media that she was at the house to retrieve more than $300,000 in jewelry stolen by Fletcher.
“Don’t try to make it about anything else but this,” Herbo said via Instagram Live. “You still got $300,000 worth of shit.”
